Aftercare

The aftercare treatment service utilizes the same cognitive behavioral interventions, motivational enhancement techniques, and a continued reference to the Living in Balance and Matrix material. The primary component of the aftercare service is group counseling. Individual sessions are offered, and for some referral sources are mandatory prior to a successful completion being granted from the McLeod Center. The aftercare treatment service ranges from 6 to 8 weeks of group sessions. Upon successful completion, clients are encouraged to continue their attendance if they feel the need for ongoing support after the required sessions.
