At McLeod Centers, we offer the following services
MAT is often used to prevent or reduce opioid overdose by normalizing brain chemistry, blocking the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids, and relieving physiological cravings. The aim of MAT is for patients to achieve stability, which is generally a year or more of continued participation and compliance with a treatment recommendation.
McLeod Centers offers Short-term, Longer-term, and Intensive Outpatient treatment. Individuals enrolled in these programs receive addictive disease education and therapeutic group counseling, in addition to individual treatment planning, urinalysis testing, and referrals to community resources as needed. McLeod Centers also offers outpatient mental health treatment services using an integrated treatment model.
McLeod Centers has more than 40 years of experience treating alcohol and drug dependence in a residential setting. From initial assessment to aftercare, McLeod Centers delivers a full continuum of care. Clients can expect to be treated with dignity and respect and to receive personalized and holistic care.
McLeod Center’s Drug Education School is a state-approved program under North Carolina General Statute 90-96 that allows for the conditional discharge of criminal convictions for first-time offenders accused of drug violations. Our Drug Education program is a one-week, 15-hour program that gives individuals the opportunity to evaluate the role that substances of abuse have played in their lives.
TASC/Case Management serves as a resource to the community by offering clients referred by the Criminal Justice System an opportunity to address substance use/abuse issues through case management, drug screen monitoring, and treatment. TASC screenings are held Tuesday through Thursday on a walk-in basis.
Having your driver’s license suspended due to a DWI is a humbling experience. At McLeod Centers For Wellbeing, we are here to guide you through the process of getting the necessary substance use treatment. In addition, our clinical team is here to help you navigate the steps toward getting your license reinstated.
