Deferred Prosecution is a collaborative effort between TASC and the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office. Successful completion may result in the dismissal of charges for first-time offenders. The District Attorney’s Office must approve all cases prior to acceptance into the program.

Once your case has been approved, please get in touch with Angela Wilburn (angela.wilburn@mcleodcenters.org) to schedule an appointment to complete the initial Deferred Prosecution paperwork, and to become oriented on the program contract goals.

*Program fees are to be discussed at the first initial appointment.
